Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

Join as a Travel Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) to provide critical care for neonates in Lake Forest, Illinois. This role involves assisting with high-risk deliveries and managing the care of infants from 29-34 weeks gestation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Assist with and attend high-risk deliveries
• Perform neonatal assessment and monitoring
• Stabilize and provide ongoing care for SCN/NICU patients
• Support delivery room for high-risk births
• Manage feeding and GI-related neonatal care

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Special Care Nursery (SCN) experience
• Comfortable assisting with and attending high-risk deliveries
• Experience working in Level II NICU settings
• Hands-on experience caring for neonates (29–34 weeks gestation)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Special Care Nursery (SCN) experience

Nice to Have

• Experience managing neonatal gastrointestinal conditions
