Provide bedside care to medical/surgical patients, assessing their condition, administering medication, monitoring vitals, and providing education to promote health and prevent further issues.
Responsibilities
- Extend bedside care to patients coping with illness, injury, or medical/surgical circumstances
- Assess patient condition
- Administer medication
- Change dressings
- Monitor vitals
- Document in patient charts
- Provide continued support and education to patients
- Promote overall health and ensure patients have tools to recuperate and prevent further health issues
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Med Surg
- Active RN license
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
