About This Role

Provide emergency care for patients with various illnesses and trauma as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department. Assess, intervene, and stabilize life-threatening conditions with decisive action.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention
• Recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions
• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action
• Be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues
• Understand triage in order to prioritize injuries based on medical need
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
