MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse specializing in Dialysis to administer life-prolonging procedures in Cedar Park, Texas. This role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring patients throughout dialysis, and educating them on kidney disease management.
Responsibilities
- Administer life-prolonging dialysis procedures to patients
- Support, medicate, and monitor patients throughout dialysis treatments
- Educate patients on kidney disease and assist them in managing their condition
- Review patient data and provide recommendations to physicians for care adjustments
- Initiate and implement comprehensive plans of care tailored to each patient's specific needs
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding dialysis and kidney disease
Requirements
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Dialysis setting
- Active RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Degree from accredited nursing program
