Travel Emergency Department RN

About This Role

Provide direct patient care to Emergency Room patients, utilizing the Nursing Process and maintaining clinical competencies. Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in delivering safe patient care within the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience
• NIHSS certification
• SAMA or CPI certification
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience required
