Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse

About This Role

Provide direct patient care on the MS/Telemetry unit utilizing the nursing process, demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in safe care delivery. This role requires floating between multiple facilities in the Tucson area.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Float between Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton and Northwest Sahuarita

Requirements

• Arizona state nursing license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the MS/Telemetry specialty

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required
