Training and Compliance Associate

About This Role

The Training and Compliance Associate will develop and deliver training, monitor, and assess plant production operations for compliance with regulatory policy, safety standards, and best practices within the LG&E East Region.

Responsibilities

• Support Health, Safety, and Environmental Field Support Team
• Train and audit compliance with policies, programs, and procedures
• Develop and review interactive hands-on training material for production employees
• Identify new health and safety program needs or changes to existing programs
• Attend operations meetings to review health, safety, and compliance concerns and issues
• Conduct JTO’s (Job Task Observations) designed to promote understanding of company policies, programs, and procedures
• Analyze JTO data looking for trends and opportunities for improvement in training procedures
• Conduct site surveys to assure compliance with Corporate Health and Safety policies, programs, procedures and guidelines
• Assist with regulatory compliance
• Refer non-compliance conditions, uncooperative employees, illness, or accident trends to Regional Operations Director

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive production experience
• Understanding of Linde production procedures
• Excellent knowledge of Federal and State health, CGA and safety regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• MS Office Suite experience

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Operations Management or a closely related field preferred or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of progressive production experience
