As a Traffic Coordinator at JLG, you will be responsible for managing international shipping operations, processing export documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. This role involves ensuring timely shipment flow and conducting quality checks on outgoing packages.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely shipment flow using a variety of international carriers
- Accurately process export documents and match them with corresponding freight before departure
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing packages to ensure shipment accuracy
- Maintain organized filing systems and tracking records
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine shipment issues as they arise
- Provide information and communication to various internal and external parties
Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field
- Proficiency in basic computer tasks, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills and reading comprehension
- Attention to detail and experience with data entry
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field
Nice to Have
