This role involves processing real estate closings and title work, including preparing documents, coordinating with lenders, and balancing closing figures for a Boca Raton law firm.
Responsibilities
- Open new files for contract and title processing
- Order and review title documents
- Resolve title issues
- Prepare title commitments and title policies
- Prepare closing documents (Settlement Statements, Closing Disclosures, Seller and Buyer documents, Title Curing Instruments, Affidavits)
- Process lender instructions and coordinate/organize loan documents for closing
- Balance closing figures for CD preparation with Lenders
- Prepare wires and checks for funding
- Electronically record documents in public records
Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience preparing Residential and/or Commercial Real Estate contract purchases, sales and/or loan transactions for closing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience preparing Residential and/or Commercial Real Estate contract purchases, sales and/or loan transactions for closing
Nice to Have
- Landtech closing & processing software experience
