This role is responsible for mitigating risks and maximizing property values across an existing portfolio of investments by communicating with borrowers, analyzing financial information, and reviewing legal documents. The analyst will complete thorough reports on outstanding assets to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor progress of borrowers’ business plans (financial, technical covenants)
- Serve as the point of contact for borrowers and vendors on loans
- Review legal documents and draft legal notices for loan investments
- Analyze property financials and construction progress
- Coordinate with the servicing department to ensure timely payments
- Work with outside counsel to enforce loan documents and covenants
- Evaluate and author reports on existing investments in the portfolio
- Interact with consultants to monitor assets and perform site inspections on investments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Engineering, or Real Estate focus)
- 1-3 years of relevant project management experience
- Real estate, asset management, or construction management experience
- Strong math proficiency for budget review and financial analysis
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Independent self-starter with strong analytical background
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or Real Estate
- 1-3 years of relevant project management experience
