Therapeutic Exercise Instructor

About This Role

This role involves working with a licensed Chiropractor or Physical Therapist to provide one-on-one musculoskeletal care to patients, focusing on education, instruction, and setup of therapeutic exercise protocols. The individual will also manage scheduling and contribute to practice growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Educate, instruct, and set up prescribed therapeutic exercise protocols (self-myofascial release, mobility, strengthening)
• Modify and/or progress exercise protocols based on patient abilities
• Schedule follow-up patient visits based on provider prescriptions
• Support practice growth and development initiatives
• Perform various practice management tasks and provide overall support for the clinic
• Contribute to regional growth, coverage needs, and other company initiatives

Requirements

• Comfortable and capable of working in a one-on-one, hands-on, active rehab environment

Nice to Have

• Relevant bachelor’s degree
• Previous work experience as a Physiotherapy Technician, Rehab Technician, Chiropractic Assistant, or Personal Trainer
• Strong desire to help others
• Interest in rehabilitation exercises
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Outstanding teaching and communication skills
• Drive and ability to learn quickly
