Temp Floater/Utility Cleaner

About This Role

This role is responsible for providing essential cleaning services to existing business clients, ensuring operational and financial efficiency, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The position requires performing basic cleaning tasks, maintaining restrooms, and handling various janitorial duties.

Responsibilities

• Service existing business clients operationally and financially
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and develop new business where possible
• Perform all basic cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Clean restrooms, which includes restocking, emptying trash, sanitizing fixtures, and cleaning mirrors, walls, and floors
• Move furniture, vacuum, and reposition furniture
• Empty trash and replace liners, checking all containers prior to moving
• Perform gum removal and spot cleaning of glass surfaces
• Attend to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns
• Restock carts and closets at the end of each shift

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to work assigned hours
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, lift, move, and use cleaning equipment
