Technician Lead - Bilingual

About This Role

Lead a team of 4-5 technicians in a manufacturing environment, overseeing project lifecycles from planning to technical implementation and ensuring efficient repair of electronic devices. This role involves delegating tasks, training staff, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Delegate work assignments to technicians and ensure they have proper tools
• Train team members, manage disciplinary actions, perform annual reviews, and track time off requests
• Address technician questions regarding missing information from the sales team
• Provide technical customer service to clients over the phone occasionally
• Order parts, tools, and hardware for the team
• Assist with repairing computers, printers, POS equipment, and tablets
• Receive orders for electronic devices and identify failed components on circuit boards
• Repair electronics by replacing components
• Train team on SMD and through-hole soldering techniques
• Download new and updated drivers for products
• Assist in creating procedural documents on repairs for team members
• Meet deadlines by ensuring repairs are complete and shipped on time to customers
• Assist with minor modifications as necessary for specific customer applications
• Function effectively in cross-functional work teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of electronics technician experience
• 1-2 years of lead or supervisory experience
• Must be bilingual – Spanish and English
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
