About This Role

Plan, organize, and implement an instructional program to guide and encourage students to develop their academic potential, focusing on science education.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement appropriate instruction of assigned content areas in line with school standards, curriculum, and student needs
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials maximizing student engagement and learning
• Utilize diverse teaching practices and methodologies to meet individual student needs from varied backgrounds
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
• Conduct tutoring sessions to support all students' needs
• Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing classroom rules and procedures
• Encourage and monitor individual student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct student records as required
• Communicate regularly with students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms
• Ability to use effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
