Tanger Ambassador

About This Role

Serve as a Tanger Ambassador, engaging and assisting guests, providing expert knowledge of the center, and promoting marketing initiatives to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a polished and professional appearance aligned with brand image
• Attend sessions, webinars, or meetings to enhance knowledge and skills
• Engage and proactively assist all guests across the center, driving consumer awareness and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of center store locations, amenities, programs, offers, and events
• Prepare and distribute samples, coupons, and product information to shoppers
• Collect and record customer feedback and information as needed
• Use mobile technology to educate shoppers on TangerClub benefits and assist with sign-ups and app usage
• Actively participate in on-site and off-site marketing events to promote initiatives
• Assist in set up, organization, and breakdown for events
• Capture and recap promotional events via photos, video, audio, etc.
• Foster partnerships with retailers by responding appropriately to requests
• Assist center management team as needed
• Drive operational excellence by reporting center issues or concerns in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide general administrative and clerical support, including office upkeep and organization
• Assist in receiving and routing mail, and preparing packages
• Assist in training new Brand Ambassadors as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years customer service experience
• Proficiency with mobile technology and applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or work-related experience
• 1-2 years customer service experience, 1 year administrative experience preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year administrative experience
• Bilingual in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
