Tanger Ambassador

About This Role

This role is responsible for engaging with guests, driving consumer awareness, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting Tanger's offerings. The Ambassador will work both independently and collaboratively to enhance the shopping experience and contribute to community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a polished and professional appearance aligned with the brand image
• Attend virtual or in-person sessions to enhance knowledge and skills as a brand ambassador
• Engage and proactively assist all guests across the center, driving consumer awareness and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of center store locations, amenities, programs, offers, and event details
• Prepare and hand out samples, coupons, and product information to shoppers
• Collect and record customer feedback and information for internal and client relations
• Educate shoppers on TangerClub benefits and assist with the Tanger Mobile App
• Actively participate in on-site and off-site marketing events to promote initiatives
• Assist in set up, organization, and breakdown for events
• Capture and recap promotional events via photos, video, audio
• Foster partnerships with retailers by responding appropriately to requests
• Assist center management team as needed
• Drive operational excellence by reporting center issues or concerns in a timely manner
• Provide general administrative and clerical support, including office upkeep and organization

Requirements

• High School Diploma or work-related experience
• 1-2 years customer service experience
• Ability to use and navigate current/emerging technology and applications with proficiency (mobile devices)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or work-related experience
• 1-2 years customer service experience, 1 year administrative experience preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year administrative experience
• Bilingual: Able to read, write, and speak in Spanish
