This Talent Management Program Manager will drive the development and implementation of global Talent Management strategies and programs. The role focuses on creating an integrated talent management framework, leading project management, and ensuring user adoption to meet STERIS's current and future business needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as process lead and SME for talent management processes including Performance Management, Talent Review/Succession Planning, Employee Engagement Survey, Intern/Co-Op Program, Rotational and Leadership Development Programs, and New Leader Assimilation.
- Lead new and ongoing global deployment and execution of key talent management processes and programs, including project planning, change management, communication, training, and assessment.
- Develop strong relationships and partner closely with HRBPs and business leaders to understand talent program needs and organizational readiness.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to achieve strategic talent objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationship with the Talent System Administrator to ensure talent modules within SuccessFactors are effectively designed and deployed.
- Assess, measure, and analyze the effectiveness and user adoption of key talent management processes and tools, continually identifying and implementing improvements.
- Measure and analyze relevant key performance indicators/metrics for key talent management activities and prepare executive summary presentations.
- Support the identification of assessment tools and methodologies for effective assessment, selection, and development of talent.
- Manage existing vendor relationships and support the evaluation of new external vendors and offerings.
- Maintain strong working knowledge and familiarity with talent management trends and best practices, researching and recommending enhancements.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development leads to ensure alignment and integration of talent management and development philosophies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or related field
- 8 years of progressively responsible HR experience in a multi-national, geographically dispersed organization
- 3 years of experience in performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and talent development
- Strong organizational and project leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication with an emphasis on influence, consultation, and business case creation
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with HR colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Skilled in facilitation for small and large groups
- Comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and change; demonstrates learning agility
- Technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, or related field
- 8 years of progressively responsible HR experience in a multi-national, geographically dispersed organization with a minimum of 3 years in performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and talent development.
