System Engineer 3 (General Purpose)

About This Role

The System Engineer on TTO5 will provide hands-on support for a fast-moving team integrating mobile automation and testing capabilities. This role involves working directly with customers and stakeholders to automate and manage mission-critical mobile devices, infrastructure, and dataflow, directly impacting mission success through technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot highly complex, mission critical data flows for customers.
• Coordinate with Operations and Capabilities organizations to enable end-to-end automation and testing capabilities.
• Develop and leverage relationships with corporate consumers of data, and corporate repository stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Analysts and consumers of corporate tools and repositories to troubleshoot data quality and integrity issues.
• Develop and document complex mission CONOPs clearly and concisely.
• Develop and implement test plans.
• Documentation of tool development and testing.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive experience interacting with mission customers.
• Experience with software leveraged to explain and document complex system interactions (e.g., Confluence/Gliffy, Vizio).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to grasp complex dataflow and automation concepts.
• Experience guiding system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans.
• Experience assisting with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
• Automation of test cases through the use of software tools, and systems.
• Working in an agile environment, continuous delivery of capabilities.
• Supporting operational scenarios.
• Monitoring the transition of tools in production, monitoring dataflow and deployed systems.

Qualifications

• B.S. or 4 additional years of experience in place of B.S.
• 12 years experience, or 8 years with a B.S. degree

Nice to Have

• Experience working within the CNO customer space.
• Familiarity with CNO dataflow systems.
• Knowledge of mobile platforms, applications, and software.
• Experience with background developing, troubleshooting, and/or integrating complex distributed software systems.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and systems.
