About This Role

Join a medical distributor specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, arthroscopic surgery, and sports medicine. This role supports the Territory Manager/Surgical Consultant in selling and promoting Stryker/biologic products to healthcare professionals, educating them on product use and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Territory Manager/Surgical Consultant to aid with planning, directing, and coordination of selling, marketing, and promotion of Stryker/biologic products and conduct sales to physicians
  • Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel on proper use and maintenance of Stryker and biologic products, product functionality and updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs
  • Tailor Stryker promotional messages based on customer knowledge, advise on appropriate product selection, answer customer questions about product functionality, and distinguish Stryker products from competitors
  • Assist with product evaluations in OR and office settings
  • Assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
  • Solve product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
  • Manage and maintain a sample inventory of products
  • Understand and adhere to all OR and pertinent OSHA guidelines when conducting a product evaluation
  • Exhibit a base understanding of computers for best utilization of Pac Med's programs
  • Adhere rigidly to all GMP policies and procedures as stipulated by the FDA
  • Command all products, including functionality, features, and factors that differentiate Stryker products from its competitors’ products and disseminate this knowledge to the customer
  • Analyze territory market potential and prioritize call patterns accordingly

Requirements

  • 0-2 years in an outside sales position (medical-related fields preferred)
  • B.A. or B.S. degree required
  • Ability to communicate with large groups of people
  • Ability to communicate telephonically
  • Ability to use common office equipment (e.g. fax, modem, calculator, PC, etc.)
  • Ability to drive an automobile
  • Ability to readily solve customer complaints and questions
  • Self-driven/motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Hard-working, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage varying as well as scheduled tasks

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree required
  • 0-2 years in an outside sales position (medical-related fields preferred)
