About This Role

This role involves assisting surgeons and medical staff in the Operating Room, performing surgical procedures, endoscopy procedures, and dental procedures. The individual must be proficient in providing nursing care to a diverse age range of patients from neonates to geriatric.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the surgeon to the completion of each operation safely and efficiently
  • Provide nursing care to patients ranging in age from neonate to geriatric
  • Assist with surgical procedures
  • Assist with endoscopy procedures
  • Assist with dental procedures

Requirements

  • Completed OR or Surgery Tech certification
  • At least one full year of direct position related experience in an Operating Room
  • Skills and competencies necessary to provide nursing care to patients ranging in age from neonate to geriatric

Qualifications

  • At least one full year of direct position related experience in an Operating Room

Certifications

OR or Surgery Tech certification (Required)
