This role is a dual-function position within Talent Acquisition and Provider Relations, supporting recruiting efforts and coordinating essential onboarding for new healthcare providers. It plays a crucial part in delivering a people-centered recruitment and onboarding experience that aligns with St. Peter’s Health values.
Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing and selection processes for recruiting, ensuring clear job postings and a positive candidate experience
- Collaborate with leaders to assess candidate qualifications, behaviors, and cultural alignment
- Develop talent pipelines through schools, community partnerships, career events, and online platforms
- Serve as a liaison throughout the hiring and offer process
- Facilitate temporary staffing coordination when needed and contribute to talent acquisition strategies
- Coordinate the onboarding experience for newly hired providers, focusing on a warm and organized welcome
- Anticipate provider needs and coordinate orientation schedules and connection points
- Facilitate communication regarding pre-employment requirements, relocation, and resource access for providers
Requirements
- Ability to coordinate, host, and facilitate candidate presentations, prescreens and interviews
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- General administrative skills (interpretation of technical information, general computer skills, oral presentation skills)
- Ability to collaborate with diverse work units and manage multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively
- High level of interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with a variety of audiences and represent St. Peter’s Health
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience working with a recruiting team in a comparable sized healthcare facility or two years in general recruiting experience.
