Supply Chain

About This Role

This role acts as a strategic link between the Supply Chain Department and the rest of the company by impacting how Fastenal manages product flow, both domestically and internationally. It provides exposure to all functions within Fastenal's dynamic supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory plans
• Collaborate with product development, operations and sales teams
• Analyze data, work on spreadsheets, and clearly communicate the results

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Nice to Have

• Currently possessing or working towards a degree in Math, Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance or a related Business field
