Supply Chain & Compliance Clerk

About This Role

This role will support the Supply Chain Manager and various teams including quality control, food safety, accounting, and sales, with a focus on vendor communication and order fulfillment. The position requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance needs are met and accurate transaction data is provided to accounting.

Responsibilities

• Implement lean practices and cost reduction strategies in materials management
• Track packing materials movement and costs, conducting inventory counts
• Assist accounting in reconciling vendor invoices to purchase orders
• Assist facilities/pack managers in fulfilling inventory needs
• Work directly with vendors to purchase necessary supplies (e.g., pallets, temp recorders)
• Maintain accurate counts and inventories of all supplies
• Assist with maintaining Organic, vendor portal, and CCOF documentation
• Maintain GTIN data for all necessary pack styles and ensure GTIN compliance
• Provide necessary GTIN data upon customer request

Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate interest in advancing knowledge and understanding of supply chain strategy
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
• Ability to communicate well through phone and writing
• Ability to think quickly to develop solutions for problems
• Willingness and strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and behavior in accordance to Employee Handbook Policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain related field
• 5+ years’ experience of supply chain, planning and compliance
