Supply Chain Associate

About This Role

As a Part-time Supply Chain Associate, you will manage inventory levels, administer procurement, and support business-to-business operations by sourcing and quoting to meet customer supply chain needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels
• Administer procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimate/quote prices and source product
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Support accounts receivable activities
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Current full valid driver's license
• Ability to meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Demonstrate ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Ability to lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field of study
• Customer service or industry related work experience is an alternative to a degree.
