Supervisor, Maintenance Night

About This Role

Supervise and oversee daily and preventative maintenance operations of various plant utility systems at the Boca Raton site, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and company policies. This role involves managing staff, coordinating activities with other departments, and performing maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff, including determining workloads, schedules, policy implementation, evaluations, and training.
• Provide input into budget development, order materials/supplies, and monitor expenditures for the assigned area.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and inspect work performed by contractors.
• Perform periodic evaluations of subordinates and recommend/implement discipline as required.
• Ensure safety training is provided to staff and proper safety practices are followed.
• Respond to emergencies, coordinate activities with other responders, and direct staff for effective repairs and utility availability.
• Perform various field maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance (PMs), and work orders.
• Prepare records related to work performed and materials used; enter purchasing requests and work orders in the computerized system.
• Manage facilities maintenance activities including budget, schedule, procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex multi-discipline equipment and systems.
• Support CMMS, maintenance, and metrology personnel in creating or revising master data specifications, calibration procedures, maintenance task lists, and SOPs.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in maintenance activities
• 3+ years experience supervising contractors and company personnel
• 4+ years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Knowledge and experience in the design and operation of buildings, manufacturing site, production facilities, equipment, systems, utilities, and instruments.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma (minimum) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Eight (8+) years minimum experience in maintenance activities including three (3+) years of supervision of contractors and company personnel. Four (4+) years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

• Experience with process automation programming applications, controls/automation installation & troubleshooting, operator & equipment interfaces.
