Supervisor, Field Operations - IHT

About This Role

Supervise day-to-day field operations, including HVAC and plumbing jobs, to ensure high-quality customer experience, safety, and regulatory compliance, and mentor a team of technicians and plumbers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections of jobs to ensure quality and safety
• Supervise day-to-day operations of technicians and plumbers
• Assist the Field Service Manager in setting and monitoring performance goals
• Inspect HVAC and plumbing jobs, including installation, for quality, safety, and cleanliness
• Partner with service and safety managers to ensure line of business policies are followed
• Create and implement processes for job site visits, equipment maintenance/installation quality, and hazard identification
• Ensure customers receive copies of work orders, permits, and new furnace stickers
• Document findings with photos and action plans, reporting to management

Requirements

• 5+ years HVAC installation and field experience
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good interpersonal skills for leading direct reports
• Comfortable with technology, software, and report-writing
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suites
• Experience with iPad use
• High School diploma/GED
• HVAC certification OR Vocational/skill training experience in HVAC
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required and HVAC certification OR Vocational/skill training experience in HVAC in lieu of certification AND Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required.
• 5+ years HVAC installation and field experience
