About This Role

Provide remote supervision for a Nurse Practitioner in Alabama, primarily focusing on disability assessments with minimal direct patient interaction or prescribing. This role is ideal for a physician seeking additional income through supervisory duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote supervision for one Nurse Practitioner based on Alabama guidelines
  • Review a percentage of charts and regularly check in with the Nurse Practitioner quarterly
  • Review Nurse Practitioner's maintenance of a log of charts reviewed
  • Be readily available for consultation with the Nurse Practitioner

Requirements

  • Valid MD/DO license in Alabama
  • Primary office located within 1 hour of Bessemer, AL, or provision of a covering physician within 1 hour
