About This Role

Lead a dynamic team on an AWS data center project, developing schedules, managing costs, and coordinating activities to ensure project completion. This role involves inspecting work for quality and timeliness, ensuring compliance with specifications, and maintaining project records.

Responsibilities

• Develop a schedule and cost-effective plan for project completion
• Collaborate with staff to create preconstruction estimates and budgets for materials and labor
• Coordinate and schedule the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers
• Inspect work regularly for quality and timeliness
• Prepare and provide progress reports
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure specifications and regulations are met
• Obtain required permits and licenses
• Execute construction contracts according to agreements
• Monitor budget throughout the project and communicate variances
• Maintain records related to costs and inventory
• Address any safety violations or deficiencies
• Collaborate with union representatives to answer questions and clarify procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in data center construction or industrial projects
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems in large industrial, manufacturing, or data center projects
• Procore experience
• Experience with schedule management
• Experience with vendor/subcontractor management
• Technical acumen in electrical, low voltage, and mechanical scopes

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in data center construction or industrial projects
