About This Role

The Classroom Teacher at Clovis Unified School District will help students learn subject matter and skills to contribute to their development as mature, responsible adults. This role involves maintaining proper disciplinary control and providing a suitable learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Reach District standards in designated curricular areas for all assigned pupils
• Perform co-curricular and/or adjunct duties as assigned by the Governing Board, Superintendent, and designated persons
• Maintain proper disciplinary control of directly assigned pupils and all pupils within the District, enforcing rules from the Education Code, Title 5, Governing Board, and District/school administrators
• Provide a suitable learning environment for academic and social development of all students, adhering to guidance from the Governing Board, Superintendent, and administrator, with student safety and welfare as paramount

Requirements

• Must possess or be eligible for appropriate California classroom credential
