Summer School Secondary Teacher, Chemistry

About This Role

This role involves teaching Chemistry at Clovis High School during summer school, focusing on student development and adherence to district academic and social standards. The teacher will be responsible for maintaining proper disciplinary control and providing a suitable learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Help students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible adults
• Seek to reach District standards as established in the designated curricular areas as adopted by the Governing Board
• Perform co-curricular and/or adjunct duties as assigned
• Maintain proper disciplinary control of assigned pupils and all pupils in the Clovis Unified School District
• Enforce all rules governing the conduct of pupils, as prescribed by the Education Code, Title 5, The Governing Board, and District/school administrators
• Provide a suitable learning environment for the academic and social development of all students

Requirements

• Appropriate California classroom credential or eligibility for one
