Summer School Secondary Teacher, Chemistry

About This Role

This role involves helping secondary students at Clovis High School learn chemistry, ensuring their development as mature, able, and responsible adults within the District's standards.

Responsibilities

• Help students learn subject matter and/or skills that contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults
• Seek to reach District standards in designated curricular areas as adopted by the Governing Board
• Perform co-curricular and/or adjunct duties as assigned by the Governing Board, Superintendent, and/or designated persons
• Maintain proper disciplinary control of directly assigned pupils and all pupils in the Clovis Unified School District
• Enforce all rules governing the conduct of pupils as prescribed by the Education Code, Title 5, The Governing Board, and District/school administrators
• Provide a suitable learning environment for the academic and social development of all students

Requirements

• Appropriate California classroom credential (or eligibility for one)
• Current employee of Clovis Unified School District (in house only)
