Summer School Secondary Teacher, Biology

About This Role

Teach Biology to secondary students during summer school at Buchanan High School, contributing to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults while adhering to District standards and maintaining proper disciplinary control.

Responsibilities

• Help students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible adults
• Reach District standards as established in designated curricular areas
• Perform co-curricular and/or adjunct duties as assigned by the Governing Board, Superintendent and/or other designated persons
• Maintain proper disciplinary control of directly assigned pupils and all pupils in the Clovis Unified School District
• Enforce all rules governing the conduct of pupils prescribed by the Education Code, Title 5, The Governing Board, and District/school administrators
• Provide a suitable learning environment for the academic and social development of all students

Requirements

• Possess or be eligible for an appropriate California classroom credential
