Summer School Principal, Elementary

About This Role

Serve as the summer school principal for elementary programs, managing school operations, maintaining student discipline, and supervising state and federal programs. Provide leadership to summer school staff and advise administration on instructional concerns.

Responsibilities

• Serve as summer school principal concerning instructional programs and services
• Make recommendations concerning curriculum and instructional materials
• Manage and supervise the operation of a school
• Maintain student discipline through appropriate school-based leadership
• Supervise school-based state and federal programs
• Recommend personnel positions for the site/district
• Consult with staff members in planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating activities
• Interpret and administer policies, rules, and regulations of the Board of Trustees
• Assist in the preparation and administration of the school budget
• Assume instructional responsibility for all relevant services

Requirements

• Valid California Administrative Services Credential
• Administrative experience at a school site
• Current CUSD employee
