About This Role

This Summer Internship Program offers intellectual and motivated students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk management, client service, operations, sales, and business analytics within the insurance industry. Interns will develop solutions, collaborate with various teams, and build a professional network.

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world resume building experience in risk management and related fields
• Partner with teams on creative and diverse projects to further develop and fulfill MMA’s brand
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the overall mission and vision of the MMA department
• Provide meaningful support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff to enhance new business and retention opportunities
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and grow professional network
• Participate in national and regional classes to learn about the industry and organization
• Cultivate industry relationships through opportunities to meet with industry partners
• Follow organization policies and procedures, sales and service standards, and established workflows
• Ensure quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance
• Maintain confidentiality

Requirements

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application and start date
• Legal work authorization in the U.S.
• Collaborative team player
• Desire to seek a future career within risk management
