About This Role

Join our on-call Substitute Teacher team to support mixed-age Montessori classrooms when full-time teachers are out. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours while making a positive impact on young children aged 0-6.

Responsibilities

  • Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency
  • Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups
  • Help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care
  • Model patience, professionalism, and kindness in every interaction

Requirements

  • Negative TB test within the last 12 months
  • Valid state background check
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor
  • Passion for working with young children

Nice to Have

  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) units
  • Recent experience working with children ages 0–6
