Guidepost Montessori is seeking on-call Substitute Teachers to support mixed-age Montessori classrooms for children aged 0-6. This flexible role involves maintaining a calm, engaging, and nurturing learning environment while assisting with daily routines and activities.
Responsibilities
- Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency
- Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups
- Help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care
- Model patience, professionalism, and kindness in every interaction
Requirements
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- Valid state background check
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor
- Passion for working with young children
Nice to Have
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) units
- Recent experience working with children ages 0–6
