Style Expert (Sales Associate)

About This Role

As a Style Expert at Halls Kansas City, you will provide an exceptional customer experience by guiding customers through store merchandise and current fashion trends to express their individual style and personality.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and ring sales
• Package carry out merchandise appropriately
• Place special orders
• Facilitate gift wrapping and shipping processes as needed
• Follow up on all merchandise requiring special handling for the respective department
• Maintain the function and visual presentation of the sales floor by dusting and straightening displays
• Restock merchandise as needed
• Replenish cash wrap supplies such as bags, tissue paper, and receipt paper
• Achieve monthly sales targets
• Drive business through establishing customer relationships

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least six months of sales experience in a department store setting, or six months professional customer contact (i.e., public relations, customer service, high volume receptionist)
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
