About This Role

The Strategic Sales Manager, Data Center will drive strategic growth by identifying and developing new opportunities across the data center value chain, including hyperscale owners, colocation operators, contractors, and integrators. This role focuses on expanding TE’s market presence through targeted engagement and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative connectivity solutions. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at the executive level in customer organizations, leveraging these relationships to position TE Energy as a preferred supplier.
  • Apply professional selling methodology and engage with developed networks of hyperscale owners and colocation operators for content expansion.
  • Conduct research and development in new technology for new product development, staying current on technological developments and recognizing the need for new approaches.
  • Actively monitor and maintain KPIs of customers relative to supplier performance standards, proactively promoting TE's value with data and results.
  • Perform financial tracking and reporting of strategy, business development efforts, market performance, and business planning results.
  • Engage in national and local industry events for market awareness and trainings.
  • Possess design knowledge of data center systems, grounding, and related applications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of technical sales experience with data center experience
  • B.S. technical/business degree
  • Ability to travel 60-75% of the time.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong customer service and public speaking skills
  • Working knowledge of engineering design, procurement, and construction practices and procedures

Qualifications

  • B.S. technical/business degree
  • 2+ years of technical sales experience with data center experience; experience managing project teams, both directly and through matrix organizations.
