Plating Operator I

About This Role

The Plating Operator I performs administrative tasks for manufacturing processes and assists in technical support. This role involves operating and adjusting plating lines, ensuring product quality, and performing preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust plating lines
• Perform quality checks of products and assure good product
• Load and change reels
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Coordinate and move product from one department to another
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling devices to move product and materials

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum weight of 44-80 lbs safely and dependably
• Frequent standing, walking, and balancing throughout the day

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent
• Little to no related work experience, introductory experience in manufacturing is a plus

Nice to Have

• Introductory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of plating processes and production lines
