Store Scanning Specialist

About This Role

Maintain overall pricing integrity within the store by printing and sorting shelf tags, auditing prices, and troubleshooting scanning issues. This role also involves assisting Marketing with signage and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Print and sort all shelf tags for each department before price active dates
• Perform tag strip maintenance and audit store tags, signs, and scale prices
• Audit Country of Origin and organic signage
• Complete audit reports, noting discrepancies and plans of action to resolve them
• Troubleshoot scanning issues and report them to the Regional Data Team
• Audit department tare weights by product and assist with master tare sheet maintenance
• Support Weights and Measures inspections, including collecting inspector feedback and leading corrective actions
• Enforce regional pricing and product authorization policies
• Assist in auditing point-of-sale codebook and provide inventory support as needed
• Convey proper tag hanging and signage to Team Members and support distribution of signage

Requirements

• 12+ months retail experience
• Strong knowledge of scanning processes, systems, and technologies
• Strong basic math skills
• Proficiency with computer applications and programs including email and Microsoft Office
• Strong to excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards
• Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills
• Strong attention to detail
