Store Manager

About This Role

Manage and lead the operations of a retail store and donation center, ensuring compliance with established policies, achieving financial goals through sales and production management, and fostering a positive work environment for the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all established Agency policies, procedures and practices
• Direct activities for retail store to ensure net performance provides satisfactory financial support for the organization
• Manage sales and production, control expenses and payroll budgets, and handle personnel issues
• Conduct interviews, hiring, and onboarding for new employees
• Ensure all employees are trained and developed in their job position and attend required orientations and classes
• Supervise staff and fulfill staffing and scheduling needs for regular hours and special events
• Coordinate shipments and make adjustments to ensure adequate product to achieve sales goals
• Confirm daily sales reports and cash receipts, ensuring monies are deposited daily
• Motivate a positive work environment for the sales team through communication, incentives, and evaluations
• Direct and share the agency initiative around diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field OR equivalent experience
• 3+ years of retail management experience as a Store Manager
• Valid Driver's License (Class C)
• Car insurance
• Reliable automobile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school in Business or related field
• Three years of retail management experience as a Store Manager; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
