The Store Manager at Division 1/Neighborhood Market upholds company policies, drives financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, and leads the management team in facility operations. This role focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction through effective merchandise presentation and supporting community outreach.
Responsibilities
- Uphold the Company's Open Door Policy by addressing Associate concerns and proactively seeking feedback
- Initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach programs, representing the Company in the local community
- Drive the financial performance of the facility by achieving sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, and developing corrective action plans
- Model and enforce proper Customer service approaches and techniques, resolving Customer needs, complaints, and issues
- Direct the management team in facility operations and communicate effectively with all associates regarding merchandising and company direction
- Drive sales through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, in-stock levels, and inventory management
- Ensure the success of the Academy training environment and store standards, creating an engaging learning atmosphere for associates
- Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying needs, communicating priorities, and providing resources
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through mentoring, performance evaluations, and fostering a belonging mindset
- Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Ensure business needs are met by evaluating program effectiveness, consulting with stakeholders, and applying suggestions for improvement
Requirements
- 4 years of general management experience with financial accountability
- 4 years experience supervising 50 or more exempt and non-exempt associates, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
- Ability to complete a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities selling firearms (if applicable)
- Ability to obtain a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility for facilities selling only ammunition with state specific requirements (if applicable)
- Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University (preferred)
- 4 years general management experience to include financial accountability and 4 years supervising 50 or more exempt and non-exempt associates, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
