Store Manager

About This Role

This Store Manager role involves overseeing all aspects of store operations, including merchandising, human resources, and financial performance, to achieve or exceed sales and profit goals. The manager will foster a positive work environment, drive employee engagement, and support change management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, counsel, and manage termination practices in compliance with legal and internal processes
• Maintain financial controls, including shrink, payroll, and other operating expenses
• Ensure proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transactions, and maintain compliance standards for shrink control
• Monitor sales activities to ensure satisfactory customer service
• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or performing customer services
• Ensure adherence of staff members to all Citi Trends, Inc. policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of retail experience as a Store Manager
• 5-7 years of retail experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
