Store Driver

About This Role

This role involves safely delivering auto parts to professional customers, managing returns and collections, and maintaining customer relationships. Additionally, you will assist in store operations, including stocking and cleanliness, while promoting sales and loyalty programs.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers
• Provide insights learned from deliveries to the CPP
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• Perform general stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services

Requirements

• Ability to speak and write English effectively
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
• Ability to use basic math accurately
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques
• Acceptable driving record

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Automotive parts experience
• Spanish language skills
