Stocking Associate / Merchandiser

About This Role

Maximize product inventory and support online business operations to deliver excellent customer service. This role focuses on merchandising, potentially across sales, front end, or other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and placing signage
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing about products and services
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws if delivery is an essential job function

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
• Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
• 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred

Nice to Have

• 1+ years of experience in a retail setting
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
