State Director

About This Role

The Director leads the growth of the ministry, focusing on staffing and funding through various advancement lanes. This role ensures alignment with the regional vice president, staff, and boards to achieve the organization's vision, mission, and values by executing a comprehensive ministry plan.

Responsibilities

• Grow the ministry through prayer, staffing, and funding via Advancement Lanes: Ministry, Board, Donor, Talent, and International
• Align with the Regional Vice President, staff, and boards to fulfill the FCA Vision, Mission, and Values
• Develop and execute a ministry plan for the assigned area
• Create a strategic, consistent approach to discipleship in FCA Sports Environment(s)
• Ensure FCA ministry adheres to biblical standards and FCA policies and procedures
• Provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, and worship
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and developing effective and diverse staff
• Invite, involve, and invest in leadership boards committed to advancing the ministry
• Serve as the chief fundraiser and financial manager
• Provide tools and training for staff to fund the ministry by connecting with donors

Requirements

• Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study
• Be connected to and participate in a local church
• Conduct oneself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct
