Provide general nursing care to patients and families across the health illness spectrum within diverse healthcare settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role contributes to process improvement activities focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population or individual
- Document planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs, based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems
- Evaluate and document response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals
- Revise the plan of care based on evaluative data as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Actively participate in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance
- Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties as a High Reliability Organization
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (Required)
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
