Staff Pharmacist

About This Role

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for accurately checking prescription medications, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructions
• Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues
• Collaborate proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to maintain high quality assurance practices
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions
• Meet pharmacy services service levels agreements (SLAs) and accuracy/quality targets

Requirements

• Valid New York pharmacist license in good standing
• 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong passion for helping people and delivering exceptional patient care outcomes
• Ability to work flexible pharmacy hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience
