As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for accurately checking prescription medications, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructions
- Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues
- Collaborate proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to maintain high quality assurance practices
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions
- Meet pharmacy services service levels agreements (SLAs) and accuracy/quality targets
Requirements
- Valid New York pharmacist license in good standing
- 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong passion for helping people and delivering exceptional patient care outcomes
- Ability to work flexible pharmacy hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience

- Retail pharmacy setting experience
