Provide direct brief legal services to low and moderate-income residents of Cook County via CARPLS' legal aid hotlines, offering legal advice, document review, and referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct brief legal services using CARPLS' custom case management software
  • Offer legal advice
  • Review and draft legal documents
  • Provide referrals to legal and social services providers

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice in Illinois
  • Five years of legal experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with low- and moderate-income populations

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • At least five years of legal experience, preferably in a legal aid setting
