Drive complex, multi-country data collection programs end-to-end for Uber's AI Solutions team, focusing on data for AI/ML, app testing, and localization. Ensure operational excellence, data quality, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate client Statements of Work (SOWs) into executable data collection programs, defining scope, timelines, budgets, workforce models, and quality control frameworks
- Resolve operational bottlenecks in real-time, addressing issues like participant churn, equipment problems, location access, or low-quality submissions
- Build processes, systems, and playbooks to scale data collection programs systematically
- Ensure data meets specifications, surpasses accuracy thresholds, and complies with global privacy, consent, and data protection laws
- Act as the primary program point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external vendors
- Provide progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
- Monitor collection KPIs via dashboards, identify issues early, and drive corrective action
- Codify learnings into playbooks and SOPs for repeatability and faster future deployments
- Influence the tech roadmap to build a world-class data collection engine
- Collaborate with privacy, legal, operations, and supply teams to unlock new use cases, markets, and scale programs
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in program management or operations
- Exposure to AI/ML data programs, sensors, or field data collection
- Multi-country operations experience
- Proven track record managing large-scale distributed programs, ideally in data, logistics, field operations, or crowdsourcing
Qualifications
- 5+ years Experience in program management or operations
